Refund Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for the Restart Financial program (the "Service"). It applies alongside our Terms of Service. Please read it before you buy, so you know exactly what to expect.
1. All purchases are final
Access to the full program is available for a one-time payment (CAD $1,649 unless otherwise stated at checkout) and gives you lifetime access to the courses and tools included at the time of purchase. Because the entire program is a digital product that is delivered to you in full the moment your payment is confirmed, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once access has been granted.
2. Why we handle it this way
We want to be straightforward about this rather than bury it in fine print. The value of Restart Financial is the content itself — the courses, lessons, and tools — and you get all of it immediately and permanently after checkout. Once that content has been made available to you, it can't be "returned," which is why purchases are non-refundable. We'd rather you feel confident before you pay than surprised afterward.
3. Try it for free before you pay
You never have to pay to find out whether Restart is right for you. The Debt Roll-Up assessment is free and requires no purchase: enter your real numbers and see a Snowball vs. Avalanche comparison, an estimated debt-free timeline, and a clear read on your situation. If self-directed payoff looks like a fit, your assessment carries straight into the paid plan. We strongly encourage you to start there so you can make an informed decision before buying.
4. Your rights under applicable law
Nothing in this policy takes away any rights you have that cannot be waived under the consumer-protection laws of your province, state, or country. Where required by applicable law, you may be entitled to a cancellation or "cooling-off" right for certain digital purchases, or to a remedy where a product is not as described. If a non-waivable legal right applies to your purchase, it applies despite anything else in this policy — please contact us so we can help you exercise it. Because these rights vary by location and can change, we describe them here in general terms only and don't try to summarize the law for every region; if you're unsure of your rights, you may wish to check the consumer-protection resources for your province, state, or country.
5. Exceptional circumstances
We know life happens. If you believe your situation is genuinely exceptional — for example, a duplicate charge, a billing error, or an accessibility issue that prevented you from ever using the Service — we're happy to review it in good faith. This is a case-by-case review, not a guarantee of a refund, and it doesn't change the general policy that purchases are final. Reach out to us at the address below and tell us what happened; we'll look into it fairly.
6. Duplicate charges & billing errors
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. If you were charged more than once for the same purchase, or you see a charge you don't recognize from us, contact us with the details and we'll investigate and correct any confirmed billing error.
7. Free access through a partner
If you received access at no cost through one of our partner organizations (CreditLift in Canada or Simula in the United States) via an access code, no payment was made and so no refund applies. Questions about partner access can also be sent to us at the address below.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and will apply to purchases made after that date. Your purchase is governed by the version of this policy in effect at the time you buy.
